I have a confession: I get so excited when I come across a bottle of Molly Dooker Wine at the store, I will stock up and buy a case. This is an incredibly fun wine that taste great. But, your going to want to shake this bottle before drinking....
This is because Molly Dooker uses nitrogen, instead of sulfates, to help preserve their wines. However, nitrogen can flatten the wine’s flavors. Giving the wine a vigorous shake helps the nitrogen gather into tiny bubbles (that you can hear!) that then quickly dissipate. This give the wine back it’s incredible life!
How to shake it up, baby:
1. Open the bottle and pour half a glass
2. Put the cap back on
3. Flip the bottle over and shake. If you really want to do it Molly Dooker style, use you left hand (Mollydooker is Aussie for Lefty). Clearly, I forgot...oh well. Watch my video below!
4. You’ll see little bubbles rise to the top of the bottle (this is the Nitrogen). You can hear it!
5. Repeat steps 2-4
6. Pour yourself a glass! Pour me a glass! & Enjoy!
